Hybrid Content Aggregation Platform

Gae-Du was a hybrid content platform: a WordPress site with a custom Python layer behind it. The Python side did the part WordPress alone does not do well — parsing RSS feeds from a range of outside sources, and generating custom feeds of its own back out.

That is what made the aggregation automatic rather than manual. Content arrived from several sources on its own and was surfaced through one unified interface, instead of being collected and posted by hand.

I built it in 2024. The domain no longer resolves, so this account comes from the build itself rather than from a page you can open today.
